After struggling to fill an urgent vacancy with their usual recruitment partners, a leading online grocer approached Proco Associates to source a Quality Manager. This was a business critical role that had been vacant for two months and needed to be filled immediately.
The position required someone with Quality Management experience within a fresh ingredients environment as well as a high level of business acumen. A highly technical background, leadership capability and an entrepreneurial drive were also core requirements for the chosen candidate.
After the initial client brief, we reacted to the urgency of the assignment by quickly mapping all potential candidates within the local market. A long list of 13 candidates was identified and initially screened by the global research team. Five were then interviewed in person by Proco Associates and three candidates were shortlisted for the client.
All three candidates progressed to a physical interview with the client stakeholders and the chosen candidate was offered within 11 days of the initial brief.
