A leading international coffee retailer approached Proco Associates for the first time search to complete an urgent search for a maternity leave contract for a Supply Chain Assistant based out of Hong Kong.
This presented quite a unique challenge, as temporary employment is not very common in the Hong Kong recruitment market.
After meeting with the client to discuss the requirements and the urgency of the search, our dedicated team mapped the local market looking for potential candidates with the required core competencies. As contract roles are very rare in Hong Kong, our challenge was to identify appropriate candidates who would be willing to move to a contract role.
A shortlist of seven candidates was prepared, from which the client chose to interview five. One of the candidates received an offer shortly after their interview, but declined due to personal circumstances. The client offered the position to another candidate, who happily accepted and commenced work within one week of the offer.
The client was extremely happy with the level of candidates presented, especially within the urgent timeline.
